Not bad, I like your colours here - the colours and the subject remind me a lot of the game 'Another World', which is not a bad thing. I think the big issue for me is the perspective seems a bit off; the two areas are aligned on the same axis, but the psuedo-wide angle effect you've created with the bend in the horizon, would suggest that the right of the frame would bend and slope down to the right. If that cave really did slope down to the left, wouldn't all the water fall out of that pool? That aside, I think this is a great start to what could be a great painting.
